I think the reason the stats above are wildly off is that we’re so used to living this way that we don’t even notice it anymore. It’s not that we’re in denial. We literally can’t recall any other way. Collectively, we’re little fishies swimming in the water of stress, breathing it in unaware. And internally, we’re wondering how everyone else seems to have it all together, but why can’t we seem to find the balance?
